I completed my undergraduate studies in 2003 at Wentworth Institute of Technology (WIT) in Boston, MA.  I studied industrial design there and focused my practice on how the principles of product development could influence my passion for furniture making.  After graduating, I went on to work for a small furniture design firm in Boston for seven years where we completed many site-specific solutions for a wide array of clients.  In May of 2013, I received my MFA from the Minneapolis College of Art & Design in the discipline of furniture design.

Today I am an adjunct professor in the design department at WIT.  I teach studio classes and model making to the industrial design students.  I am also a guest lecturer at the school.
